Back To The Off Grid Project & Homestead

I made it back to the off grid homestead and The Off Grid Project after my tour of Ireland and Michigan. I was surprised to find that pretty much everything is just as I had left them.

The garden is alive and well. The weeds did not grow up and take over when I was gone. This was my worst fear. That either the plants would die or the weeds would take over again. But the mulch did its job. And where I had the garden covered up before, the weeds did not yet grow through.

The meadow is a jungle though due to the near constant rain we have been getting. It rains just about every second day. Sometimes every single day. The ground is getting green from moss and algae which grow abundantly now.

My rock flower gardens are also doing well. The camomile is dying though due to too much rain.

The animals are all fine and well. Although a bit grumpy due to the heat. There is nothing I can do about that really but to keep the water dishes filled up and make sure everyone has enough shade.

I got some packages in the mail while I was gone. There are no notes or anything to let me know who sent what. If you see this and sent something, please let me know in the comments. Thank you all.
