Folding USB Solar Panels Head 2 Head Testing

I am testing both of my folding USB solar panels head to head. This test will take some time to finish but I want to see which one performs best in all conditions. Full sun, partly sunny and cloudy.

I am using the SunJack folding solar panel which puts out 5 volts at 14 watts of power. It has two USB outputs to charge multiple devices at the same time.

I am also using the Suntactics folding solar panel. This one also puts out 5 volts at 14 watts.

The true test will come over time when I see which performs best in partly sunny to cloudy conditions.

Many of the cheaper folding solar panels will actually drain your device rather than charge it when the sun is not brightly shining on it fully.

The Suntactics has a manual and a automatic USB output. This means that it will automatically prevent your device from discharging if a cloud passes over.

I am using my USB volt and amp meter to monitor the results and outputs of the two solar panels on the fly.

Living off the grid like I am, I can use all the solar power I can get. These two panels will certainly be used heavily here at the off grid homestead.

When I have finished testing these two after some time I will share my results with you on video.
