Building Tiny House Bathroom Cabinets With Pallet Wood

I built my own bathroom cabinet over the sink using mostly recycled pallet wood that I got for free. The only new wood I used was mangled 2x2 lumber I got on deep discount a while back.

The 2x2s were used for the framing of the tiny house bathroom cabinet. I wanted strength and ease of screwing it together. I could have used 1x2 lumber but it is harder to screw it together without splitting the wood.

I used OSB that I got for free. This was used one time to ship lawn mowers in and then it was set out on the road free for the taking. This is where I get all my OSB for the tiny house projects.

After I finished building the bathroom cabinet I put some pallet wood trim on the sides, top and bottom. It looked so good that I decided to put some in between the shelves as well.

Now I have finally unpacked my shaving kit for the first time in many years. I have literally kept my shaving kit in the bag all these years waiting for one day that I have a place to call my own. It feels very good to unpack my stuff finally.

I will make a pallet wood door on the bathroom cabinet as well soon but it has been raining which makes a mess of the wood. You just cant work with wet wood. It is a mess to cut and it shrinks when it dries making a mess of the project you made out of it. So I have to wait a bit for that.
