Garlic Mustard has a built in sort of antifreeze so it can also be found in the winter under the snow. This makes it a perfect survival food.

Garlic Mustard grows in two stages during a two year period. During the first year it is very short and close to the ground. During the second year it grows up to 30 inches high, flowers out and produces seeds.

The entire plant is edible.
