Car Brakes Part 2 & Bug Out Jeep Update

I decided to just go ahead and do the second side of the car before lunch. It should have taken a few minutes to an hour at most. But, sadly that was not the case.

The piston on the other side brake caliper is frozen solid. I cannot move it one way or another. I have tried and tried for hours but it will not move at all.

I even tried with a hammer and crowbar but it would not move a bit.

I fear the piston was pushed out too far, heated up and froze in place.

I called around but cannot find any parts for this vehicle anywhere in stock. I can special order them and wait a week if I want though.

When working on the Jeep the other day I discovered that the gas tank was leaking at the seams. The previous owner had sealed the tank but it was leaking again.

Sadly I had filled the tank up to the top when I drove it home. Now I am losing gas.

So I ordered a new gas tank from Amazon right away. I have some credit on Amazon due to my online marketing. So I found a tank for $67 with free shipping.

Surprisingly the new gas tank arrived the very next day. I cant believe how fast it arrived.

I will be installing the Jeep gas tank soon. I also hope to get the car brakes fixed up or I will not have anything at all to drive.
