Cutting A Massive Pile Of Wood For This Winter

I spent the evening working on a wood pile that has been in my way since Tim and I cut the trees down in front of the tiny house on wheels. This is a pile from 8 trees that we cut down in one day.

Sadly I had broken my rib on that weekend and never got to finish cutting up the wood. I am healthy again now and got to it.

I was just going to cut a path through in the beginning but ended up cleaning up the entire wood pile.

I cut everything down to manageable chunks and tossed the logs into three piles. One to be split. One to be used immediately. And the third pile needs to be cut one more time.

I piled the brush up on a heap and got every single branch out of the way.

It felt good to finish the entire pile of wood. I finished just as it was getting too dark out to work safely.

I also worked out in front of the truck camper a bit on this day. I was clearing up old demolition debris from the old camper. I want to clean up the entire yard before I continue work on my projects.

All wood work will be out by the wood shop in the future. This will keep my yard and home looking nice. Any new building materials will immediately be taken out to the wood shop or near it to keep the yard clean.
