Stabilizing My Pallet Wood Picket Fence & Gates

I spent some time reinforcing my pallet wood picket fence gates so they no longer swing and sag under their own weight.

I put cross bracing on each of the pallets on either side of the gates. Then I put bracing on the gates themselves.

I simply used pallet wood pieces that were left over from making the pallet wood picket fence. I used a reciprocating saw to cut off the wood scraps from pallet wood frame boards to use for the picket fence bracing.

The gates work now without sagging so badly.

I can now use my pallet wood picket fence and enter through the gates properly.

I did notice that the pallet boards on either side of the gates need to be anchored to the ground so that they do not lift up under the weight of the gates. That is no problem which I will take care of later.
