YouTube Friend Helping On The Off Grid Homestead

Bison from Buggingin on YouTube came over for a visit. We did some work. Had some fun. Did some experiments.

We first had lunch at the local diner and talked about things, catching up.

Then we talked about our survival gear a bit. That is always fun.

Bison helped me clean out the wood from in front of the survival truck camper so I can sell it. That saved me a lot of work. Somehow work goes better with two people. It seems faster and it is fun.

As he tried out a new fire starting idea I worked under the truck camper a while to clear out all the debris and leaves under there so I can get it out of my yard.

Later we finished setting up the storage tent in my back yard so I can get all my survival gear and outdoor equipment put away in there for now. Later I have to put some in my Jeep and sell the rest.

Bison and I had a good time both working and going through our survival gear. He got us some mini belt pouches that we are using to put together some survival kits that will be with us at all times. We can wear these pouches on our belts so we never leave home without them.

It will take us both some time to figure out what works best for each of us.
