Rizal Park Also Known As Luneta Park Manila Philippines

Melanie took me to Rizal Park which has two names. It is also known as Luneta Park. It is a large, beautiful park in the middle of the city.

There is a giant 3D map of the entire Philippine Islands which is in a large pond. It is pretty cool to walk over the bridges and look at the Philippine Islands in 3D under you. We located where we were staying on the map.

The park has many attractions and much to see. Manila is full of history and they seem proud of showing every bit of it that they can. The park has a lot of historical monuments and reminders of the past.

There is a huge outdoor theater, the 3D map, a Japanese garden, Orchard garden and much more. It is quite a large park, as I said. We were there two times and did not see everything.

Everywhere you go in Manila it seems that there are armed guards or soldiers around to keep you safe. This park was no exception so we felt relatively safe there.

Melanie was playing with the fish in a pond. It was funny because she wanted to hold one in her hand. They kept trying to eat her fingers. I told her we need to get her a cat asap.

It was another nice day with Melanie in the Philippines.
