Trilateral naval exercise involving Russia, China, and South Africa ends in the Indian Ocean

🇷🇺🇨🇳🇿🇦 A trilateral naval exercise involving warships and vessels of the Russian Navy, the People's Liberation Army of China, and the South African National Defence Force has completed today in the Indian Ocean.

◽️ Participants in the three-day drills practised forming a multinational squadron in a designated area, joint tactical manoeuvring in different formations, and mine defence missions during a sea crossing with live-firing at a mock floating mine.

◽️ The Russian Federation was represented at the exercise by the frigate Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov and the medium sea tanker Kama of the Northern Fleet. The Chinese Navy was represented by the frigate Rizhao, the destroyer Huainan and the support vessel Kekexilihu, while the South African Navy was represented by the frigate Mendi.
