Filling Up My Off Grid Homestead Rain Water Tanks

It was raining hard and my off grid rain water tanks filled up entirely in a single day. I helped out a friend and got some fine deals I would like to share with you as well.

It rained hard. It rained very hard and the tiny house rain water tanks filled up to the top. I was able to fill all of my water tanks. I could have filled the new cistern as well but the valve is stuck and I have to empty it and move it anyway.

I spent the day working on the internet on my websites, comments and on videos. It was a good use of a rainy day.

While it was raining I used the time to put my dirty dishes out to catch rain water. I let the rain wet the items, then wash them. Then I let the rain water rinse them off again. This is a water saving way that I do dishes in the rain.

The next day I had to leave to help a friend go to the doctor. It was a far away trip, an hour one way. So while we were there we visited one of my favorite stores ever. I got some pretty awesome all natural meals in a pouch. These are heat and eat meals but they are all natural and very healthy. No preservatives, no chemicals. Just good food.

These make awesome survival, camping and hiking meals. Most of these are in a pouch and you just add water. Some of the meals are just heat and eat. Depending on your weight requirements, both are good meals. These are way better trail meals than anything else I have ever tried. They are also good for daily eating at home or when you just do not have time to cook a proper meal.

Thanks for watching. Please Subscribe & follow my daily videos.
