Rebuilding My Wood Shop After Storm Damage

The wind last week destroyed one of my storage tents, took off with another one and totally messed up the off grid wood shop. Now it is time to rebuild.

I had to start out by emptying the entire wood shop so I could even get into the place. Literally everything was knocked over. The shelves were broken and my stacked up wood pallets were knocked over.

I first removed all the wood so I could make space to build a new rack to store it all on.

I spent a good deal of time building a stronger rack to hold the wood in place. The pallet I am using is hard as iron and it made putting srews and nails through it nearly impossible.

I was breaking bits, breaking screws and bending nails. Even with a pilot hole the screws did not go into the wood.

Stay tuned for part two of the rebuilding of my off grid wood shop. Coming soon.....
