Finished Off Grid Tiny Home Loft OSB Installation

I finished the last piece of OSB in my tiny house on wheels. I am building my off grid tiny home out of recycled materials.

This is the very last piece of OSB in my tiny house. I am using that as a backing for the pallet wood or barn wood paneling I will later put on the walls. I have to wait for summer to do the paneling due to the moisture content in the wood right now. The wood shrinks badly when it dries out and that takes a few months.

The OSB backing will act as both a nailer for the paneling and as a filler for any gaps that may appear through the panels over time.

It really feels good to have the off grid tiny house study ready for use finally after all this time.

I am building my tiny home using mostly recycled materials in order to keep it green and to keep it on a budget. Except for the framing and insulation most of my tiny house is build using recycled materials and reclaimed lumber.

I have also insulated my tiny house very well and used double sided radiant barrier to make this a very energy efficient off grid tiny house on wheels.

I am using about 1.5 cubic feet of wood to heat the tiny house every 24 hours even on a cold day of winter. This is amazing and super energy efficient.
