Tiny House Work ~ Sprouting ~ Cutting Fire Wood

Working on the off grid tiny house on wheels today. I plan to finish the loft study and get some shelves in there before Melanie comes home.

I also cut some more fire wood. And I am sprouting seeds for healthy snacks.

I plan to get all the insulation in the tiny house loft finished. Then I have to put up furring strips. Then the radiant foil. And then more furring strips. And finally the OSB sheathing.

Then I will be able to put in the book shelves and the paneling for the tiny house loft study. This room will also double as a guest bedroom as needed.

I got a good start on cleaning out the loft. I have been storing all my construction materials, tools and empty boxes in the loft study up till this time.

I have been sprouting seeds. Some of you may remember I have a seed sprouter which I use for healthy snacks. Sprouting seeds increases their nutritional value. I have a hard time keeping the mold away though due to the heat in my tiny house. But I am enjoying healthy treats each day now. As I finish one set of sprouts I have another going. At any given time I have three sets of seeds sprouting and rotating out.

I went out in the woods to cut up some fire wood with my chain saw. I have a lot of smaller trees that I cut down last year and they are cured now and ready to cut and burn for my off grid tiny home heating.
