Putting Up A Canvas Ceiling In My Tiny Home

Due to the comments I have decided to put up canvas on my tiny house ceiling to cover the insulation. I cannot afford paneling at this time but I need to cover the ceiling with something.

After reading the comments and multiple suggestions about putting canvas on the ceiling of my off grid tiny house on wheels I talked to some friends and family members to get their opinions. Everyone said it was a good idea. So I did it.

I went out to get some canvas at Harbor Freight. Everywhere else sells long pieces of canvas drop cloth at 4 feet wide by 15 feet long. This is an awkward size and hard to work with in my tiny home.

But Harbor Freight sells the canvas way cheaper and it measures 9 feet wide by 12 feet long. This is absolutely perfect for my tiny home ceiling. My house measures 10 x 24 outside dimensions so two pieces of canvas at 9 x 12 will fit inside my tiny house ceiling.

I started to work on it after splitting a bit more fire wood. Every couple days I cut a bit more wood to heat my off grid tiny house on wheels with. I prefer to cut the wood in winter when its cold out. As they say it heats you twice that way.

Stay tuned for part two of the canvas ceiling installation.
