Wet Rainy Day Gardening & Chicken Run Construction

It rained most of the day but I worked on the new chicken run anyway in the rain. We also worked on planning the garden a little bit.

I want to finish this chicken run soon so I kept working in the rain. It is quite sturdy and light weight. I put cross bracing on all sides to prevent wobble but still keep it light and portable.

I am in the process of making a door out of all scrap lumber. This entire chicken run is fully made out of scrap lumber that I salvaged from the local small engine shop. It was originally used as shipping crates for lawn mowers.

Melanie and I spent a bit of time working inside the tiny house on wheels planning our new vegetable garden. We hope to have a large variety of foods this year. We hope to have enough put away to last us the entire year.
