Checking Everyone's ID At The Door

We're jealous. The Mayor will be at the Tower of Power concert tonight in town. He's been following them since their beginning in 1968. So, of course, he has today's Segue City Special all figured out in advance that he wanted us to produce. It actually is good on a thematic level as well as actually blending well too as it mixes two TOP songs with a similar theme but with different voices. While we doubt the Fairy Godmother will show up with tickets for us, maybe the Funky Doctor will.

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
