Garden Work & Milking Homestead Goats

It was another scorching hot day but we got some work done on the homestead. And the goats get milked two times per day, every day.

We have had near 100 degree temperatures with 80 - 99 % humidity nearly constant since May this year. It makes work show going.

Later I have to milk the goats. We have a homemade milking stand which was simply made out of two pallets and a piece of plywood.

The goats run right up and into place now. The put their heads right through the hole and happily get munching on their food. This makes our job so much easier now.

The only problem is getting the goats back into their pen after feeding time. But we manage.
