Dairy Farm Being Added To The Off Grid Homestead

Sorry for the confusion but my computer hid this video on me. This was recorded before the last video. Trucker Buck and I prepare the area for the new goats.

Trucker Buck from YouTube came over to the off grid homestead. We spent some time at a goat farm getting instructions on how to care for goats. Trucker Buck picked out the two that he wanted. We are getting two Nubian milk goats.

When we got back to the homestead we started to prepare the place where the goat fence and shed will be.

Chris and I had originally been putting all of our uncut and unsplit fire wood over there. We had no plans for that space before. But now suddenly things are changed and we have to clean up the area for the goats.

We feel that it is perfect to put the goats right next to the chickens. In part because the goat lady told us that the chickens eat ticks and keep the goats safe from them. In part because it is the best place we have for now and the area is already mostly fenced off for the chickens.

When the goat fence is fully done we plan to let the birds out to free run around with the goats.

Thanks for watching. Please Subscribe & follow my daily videos.
