How To Chage A Weed Trimmer Head In 2 Minutes

Changing a weed trimmer head is quite easy really. I got a running weed trimmer for next to nothing but the head was missing some parts. I bought a flail blade head to replace it with.

The only thing you have to work out is that some weed eaters have right hand thread and some have left hand thread.

There should be a slot on the top side of the head where you can slide in a small screw driver. This locks the head in place and stops it from turning while you work.

After you have figured out which thread you have on your weed whacker, simply grasp the head firmly with your hand and turn it off.

My replacement head kit has several adapters so that it will fit almost any model of weed eater. I found the right one and then put it into the new head.

Now all you have to do is turn the new weed trimmer head into place and seat it firmly.

Thats it. It is so easy to replace a weed eater head.
