Cleaning Up The Homestead & A Guest Arrives To Help

We have both been hard at work cleaning up the off grid homestead. Melanie is beautifying the place while I am cleaning up the property. And a guest has arrived to help out on the off grid homestead for a while.

Melanie is working on the rock garden beds and cleaning up the leaves around the property. I spent my day cleaning up a huge brush pile from trees I dropped last year. Now that the land is ours, I am expanding the meadow and moving stuff out of the area and out of sight.

I plan to move the workshop camper over behind the wood tent. Then the motorhome will be moved in front of the wood tent. The workshop will be a small engine repair shop. The motorhome will be a wood shop. The tent will then be used just to store lumber for later use.

I cleaned up the entire brush pile and raked up the leaves. Then I got out the chain saw and started to cut some trees. But the chain saw was giving me trouble and the chain was flying off.

After cutting my hands trying to fix the chain saw I decided it was time to quit for the day.

Melanie and I went to pick up Chris, who lives nearby. He will be helping us out on the homestead for a while. Chris has volunteered his time at The Off Grid Project.

I have been praying for someone to help us out here to get the meadow cleaned up. There are many things I just cannot do alone and I need a man around for those projects.
