Built A Goat House Entirely With Free Pallets & Scrap Wood

Trucker Buck from YouTube came over again to help us build a pallet goat house for our new goats that are on the way soon. We built this goat shelter entirely out of free wood pallets.

The pallet goat shed is made by stacking two pallets high and two pallets wide on the walls. This gives us roughly 8x8 foot dimensions.

I used some old lumber that was laying around for cross bracing and for the roof rafters.

For a slope to the roof I used a 2x12 board from the old barn wood pile stood up on end.

For the roof we used six wood pallets which we placed on top of the rafters. This gives us an overhang on the top and the back sides.

Now we are nearly ready to accept the goats at the off grid homestead.
