Monica De La Cruz has represented Texas’s 15th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2023. De La Cruz is the first Republican to represent Texas’s 15th congressional district since its creation in 1903. De La Cruz wrote in a letter to Biden saying that border security is a key issue for her constituents and that fentanyl is killing Americans at alarming rates. Rep.
