Nomad Questioned By Police On A 1700 Mile Trip In My Ambulance Conversion RV

We just made a 1700 mile drive from NY to CO, experiencing great weather and smooth flat roads - until we were approached by a trooper at a rest stop in Iowa. This will go into my story book as one of the strangest occurrences to happen to us while traveling.

My name is David and with my dog Lefty we live full time in our converted ambulance RV. I made this change to my 'standard' life and you can too! Like, subscribe and comment - Lefty would appreciate it - he wants the adventures to keep coming!

The Campulance is a 2002 Ford E450 Marque Commando 164 Class III ambulance powered by the Ford 7.3l Powerstroke diesel engine and a 4 speed transmission. Lefty is a 65lb Staffordshire Terrier (best I can tell) that came from the Verona Street Animal Shelter in March 2014 at the age of 9 months. We have been living full time in the campulance since July 2019.
