Lagos police debunks claim of traders and shops being attacked by hoodlums at Lagos island market, Mandillas.
Lagos police command has reacted to a viral video in which it was alleged that traders and shops are being attacked by hoodlums at Lagos Island market, Mandillas.
Lagos police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin who debunked the claim, said the market association had agreed that shops won’t be opened today, February 27, and the hoodlums were only enforcing the order which was defied by some traders.
Security operatives are currently at the market and normalcy has been restored.
