Moment buildings collapse as Turkey quake hit in new footage

CCTV cameras captured horrific moments as a powerful earthquake shook a children’s playground and houses in Türkiye’s Diyarbakir on Feb. 6.

In newly released footage of the eartquake, people can be seen fleeing as buildings collapse.

At least 22,327 people were killed and more than 80,278 others injured by two strong earthquakes that jolted southern Türkiye on Monday, according to the latest official figures.
