SYNOPSIS…

PART 1
Tune in this week to “Me and My Song” as Jessica Leia provides a very candid and silly, yet sometimes intense, backstory to the creation of this month’s song: “Don’t Do It”. Be entertained as Jessica tells about the musical logistics of creating the song structure with her “everything guy”, Dean Kattari: and how he was inspired by the “The Strokes” when he created and she was inspired by “The Beatles”. Put it all together and you have an electrifying song about the proverbial Devil on your shoulder! Well… That wasn’t SUPPOSED to be what the song was about. But songwriting is a bit like life in that regard; not always what you meant it to be from the start. But you can let Jessica Leia tell you all about that and how some of the lyrical inspiration behind this month’s song “Don’t Do It”, literally came from an economic hitman! Who even new those even existed?

Don’t Do It – SOLO:
“Don’t Do It” is a song influenced by The Strokes and The Beatles, so in all likelihood, it is going to be a fun listening experience for you! Enjoy the solo version of this song as Jessica Leia shows that acoustic guitar who’s boss and belts out lyrics which chide certain professionals that just may have, possibly sold their souls to the Devil!

Don’t Do It – FINAL:
There might be a little bit of The Strokes in there… might even be a little bit of The Beatles in certain places. One thing that’s for sure is that “Don’t Do It” is one hard core tune! Punk Rock at its core, “Don’t Do It” will mash guitars, smash some drums and showcase some pretty clean, but none-the-less, aggressive vocals as Jessica Leia belts out lyrics which chide certain professionals that just may have, possibly sold their souls to the Devil!
