The lesson on February 26 was part 13 of the “Law and Grace” study. We dove right into the graphic Wayne presented last time displaying how the Priesthood had changed from the Law of Moses after the order of Melchizedek and will be achieved in the New Covenant for Israel. In Matthew 5; and 23 we see the Law of Moses being active. We then see in Galatians 6:2 the Law of Christ coming in during the Acts and continuing afterwards when Paul the Prisoner revealed the Mystery. Those who were saved are still part of the Highways and “Other Sheep” ministries. The Law of Christ allows the Messiah resolve both groups (Believing Jew, and Mystery Believer). We looked at God having a “Remnant” in Israel and how many times it appears in Bible then how may times “Remnant and Israel” appeared together. This lesson finished reviewing those passages (2 Sam. 21:2; 1 Ki. 14:10; 2 Chr. 30:6; 34:9; Isa. 10:20, 22; 11:16; 17:3; 46:3; Jer. 6:9; 31:7; 42:15; Ezek. 11:13; Mic. 2:12; 5:3; Zeph. 2:9; 3:13; Rom. 9:27) and covered Romans 9:27 KJV “27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:” This remnant of 7000 is an important group that will be the focus of our next study!

The scripture reading was from Romans 11 :1-5 KJV “1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”
