Eunice is cruelly dumped when the wife of her Congressman lover makes him an offer he really can't refuse.
Burt is missing and the Campbell's flock to the hospital, where they are mistaken for inmates.Then Burt returns and tells Mary he killed her first husband, which is why he is so haunted and always running away.
Corinne learns Ingrid has slept with Judge Petrillo, trying to in turn screw with the legal system and convict Jessica.
Father Timothy finds his mother is totally unsympathetic about his problem with Corinne.
On the stand, Jessica cannot understand why the lawyers keep asking the same questions, over and over again.
Prosecutor Franklin calls his surprise witness, Mrs. Fine, who can place Jessica in Peter's bathroom on the day of his murder
