“HOLDING (someone) ACCOUNTABLE = is a way to talk about discovering who is responsible for a problem. It is similar to blame but “hold accountable” also implies that there will be consequences if it is discovered that the person has behaved wrongly.
In this video we practice the meaning of “hold accountable” and then we use “hold accountable” in several different examples while improving English listening and improving English speaking at the same time.
