Are farm animals friends?

Can cows and chickens form relationships? The google says cows gravitate towards one another, forging close relationships in the process. So, I am assuming that this means they form familiarization with chickens. Every cow we have every hosted on our farm has found this spot to be familiar and friendly. COW and CHICKEN FRIENDS!
