Ragestep: A genre that I'm defining for the first time here. It is a genre of music whose songs usually features very prominent and often constantly changing chord and/or synthesizer leads, many digital warp/glitch sounds, and which often features many loud and pounding bass hits and kick drums, as well as sometimes hi-hats. It is reminiscent of Hip Hop in that its drum beats and hi-hats play an important role in the song, but the synthesizers/chords and glitch sounds which are layered over these drums largely keep these songs within the sphere of Electronic music.
