Biden administration proposes new rules for telehealth prescriptions

The government is looking to set limits on how telehealth providers distribute prescription medications. The Food and Drug Administration is looking to impose a required in-person medical evaluation before receiving certain prescriptions. Some less-addictive medications such as antibiotics and birth control would still be available via telehealth.
