Transferring a character from the pages of a screenplay to a living performance, on screen, is a very important part of what ensures a scriptwriter or film producer's movie is seen as authentic by the audience. In this series of interviews, I sit down with the award winning actor and critically acclaimed acting coach, Judah Katz, as he walks us through a number of the methods that go into great performances on screen. There's way more to a story than just having your characters speak lines. They need to be interesting to watch and Judah dives into exactly what makes us see characters as interesting, in big moments and small ones.
