As a leader, you must consider everything, the good and the bad, avoiding cognitive bias. Sometimes the best way to move forward may mean losing something to make a better decision.

Leading is hard, especially when it comes to making difficult decisions for the better of the entire group. I’ve had to make decisions that affected those I liked and situations that I enjoyed, but in the long run, I knew that these decisions would be best for the organization and in a lot of cases, best for the people that were affected negatively. As a leader, you have to be ready to make the hard decisions.
