"This little light of Mine"

Jesus Christ is the light of the world and encourage believers to follow his example in shining their own light.

One such verse is found in the Gospel of John, chapter 8, verse 12, where Jesus says, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Another verse is found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 5, verse 14, where Jesus tells his disciples, "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden."

So while the Bible does not explicitly state that one cannot be the light, it does emphasize the importance of following Jesus as the ultimate source of light and encourages believers to let their own light shine as a reflection of his teachings and example.
