New drug, commonly known as ‘tranq’ or ‘tranq dope’ is showing up mixed with synthetic opioids, particularly fentanyl, and rotting the skin of its users. Created in the 1960s, it is used by veterinarians to sedate cows, horses, sheep, and other animals. The drug is now taking over America’s streets.
