Scarborough Fair (Modal tune)

An in-depth study of modal melody that my students do when they are learning about this subject. We started from the understanding of how we imagined melody to be thought of in antiquity and we modified it with the musical evolution of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, but I went a little further and harmonized in the last version a Jazz that is present today (melody with modal flavor and Jazz with tonal and modulating flavor). Um estudo aprofundado sobre a melodia modal que meus alunos fazem quando estão aprendendo sobre esse assunto. Partimos do entendimento de como imaginamos ser pensado a melodia na antiguidade e vamos modificando com a evolução musical da Idade Média e o Renascimento, mas fui um pouco mais longe e harmonizei na última versão um Jazz presente nos dias de hoje (melodia com sabor modal e Jazz com sabor tonal e modulante).
