The US announced on January 25 that it would send Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
US officials have said that maintenance of the tanks is very complex, and using them adds significant logistical complexities for Ukraine. But if the Abrams tanks are not ideally suited to the current battlefield, why is the US sending thirty-one of them to Ukraine?
