Everyone present stood up for the second time...but reluctantly...

Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya proposed to the Security Council to honor the memory of all victims of the Ukrainian conflict since 2014.

Thus, Nebenzya reacted to the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba to remember the "victims of aggression." It should be noted that the Ukrainian minister, contrary to the established procedure, spoke before the permanent members of the UN Security Council.

"Mr. Chairman of the UN Security Council, we stand in memory of all the victims of the conflict since 2014. All the dead. Any life is priceless. Therefore, we stand in memory of all these people," Nebenzya said.

Everyone present stood up for the second time.

According to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, more than 14,000 civilians have died in Donbass since 2014. About 9 thousand people were injured, and 1.3 million people fled their homes.
The Kiev regime continues to attack the civilian population of Donbass even after the annexation of the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia.

On February 23, as a result of an attack on a residential area of Donetsk, four ambulance workers and one civilian were killed, and another 12 people were injured. On February 24, Ukrainian militants fired at a bus station in the Zaporozhye region, one person was injured.
