New textbooks feature trans people in Bangladesh

Wearing bright saris and heavy make-up, much of Bangladesh’s transgender community, or hijras, spend their days collecting donations from people stuck in traffic jams and shopkeepers who give small change in exchange for their lucky blessings. Lauren Anthony reports.
