Dave is a Millennial who was raised in a strict religious household, homeschool k-12, he was forbidden from listening to secular music. They rarely allowed Dave to watch TV or go to a movie. Also, being a military family, he was always moving around the world.

John D'oh is Dave's much older friend (near 60) who has been introducing Dave to "classic rock" since they met. John is a self-described "Yes Freak" who is also into Genesis, Kansas, E.L.O., and other prog or near prog artists as well as the standard 70's Classic Rock. While John loves the music, he never really paid attention to the actual words or meanings of songs.

These days, Dave is on the road following his wife Candy as she moves around as a traveling nurse. Dave works remotely from wherever home is that month. Since John and Dave are now separated by miles, John uses technology to continue Dave's journey into better music. Since last year, they've been recording these sessions and made them available on the U of the Tube. Now, we're here, also!
