ABOUT STEDFAST BAPTIST CHURCH
Stedfast Baptist Church is an independent fundamental King James only baptist church with a vision to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to teach people the entire Bible. We are an old fashioned church that desires to preach the timeless truths of the Word of God regardless if the world changes around us. We sing the old fashioned hymns and psalms and focus heavily on the importance of personal evangelism (soul winning). Our church is a family integrated church, meaning that parents are encouraged to sit in the service with their children, toddlers and babies. We believe it's important for children to hear the Word of God from a young age and to be kept safe by the supervision of their parents. We also provide comfortable Mother Baby rooms with TV monitors streaming the service where mothers can take care of their children in privacy without having to miss out on the service.

ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Pastor Jonathan Shelley married his wife, Keri, in 2009 and they have five children, Clayton, Jaxon, Abi Jean, James and Eloise. Jonathan was raised in a Christian home and saved at age five. In 2016, Jonathan moved to Faithful Word Baptist Church to train to be a pastor. In 2018, Pastor Shelley was sent to start Pure Words Baptist Church in Houston, TX. In 2019, Pastor Shelley took on the pastorate of Stedfast Baptist Church in addition to Pure Words Baptist Church. Jonathan’s vision for Stedfast Baptist Church is to reach the entire Dallas / Fort Worth area with the gospel, train soulwinners, develop and send out evangelists and pastors, and reach foreign countries with the gospel.
