Setting Up Solar Panels Far From Home - 550 ft!! - Part One| Rescued Chickens

In today's video, we go over how we are setting up our solar panels over 500 feet away from our home. We had the bright idea of putting our solar panels up in a tree and quickly realized that the wind is far too strong on our property. So we decided to put the panels on the lower portion of our property, in a south facing clearing. Using 1 gauge aluminum wire, we connect the panels to our bus. We spent lots of time digging a trench for the wire, Greg pulled the wire down using a home-made spool. I have also been busy building garden beds and planting flowers and vegetables.
