God’s Kingdom is one of love not dominance. It’s based in freedom, not force or manipulation. His Kingdom looks nothing like the kingdoms of this world where power and significance come from climbing up a hierarchical pyramid. That worldly system creates envy, strive, greed, jealousy, fear… and evil thing. Jesus came to establish a Kingdom where leaders come low to lift others up, By example, He came low to serve, to submit, to honor and to love. He taught us how to do the same. It’s a beautiful, upside down Kingdom — or perhaps we should say right side up!
