Star Wars: Demolition is a vehicular combat game set in the Star Wars universe created by both Luxoflux and LucasArts using the Vigilante 8 game engine. The premise of the game is that the Galactic Empire declares they have officially banned Jabba the Hutt's podraces, so Jabba creates a more life-threatening vehicular combat contest to replace the sport of podracing. The game was originally released on both the Sony PlayStation and the Sega Dreamcast; PlayStation on November 12, 2000 and Dreamcast on November 19, 2000. The game was re-released digitally for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 17, 2023.

The game received mixed reviews upon release. Critics felt that while the game was fun in short bursts it lost its appeal with extended gameplay. Subsequent retrospective reviews and major media replays found the game lackluster. Critical commentary pointed to poor controls and boring gameplay.

Remastered and re-released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 17, 2023. Included as part of the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics Catalog or $4.99 on its own. This title has been converted from the PlayStation® version to the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 consoles and provides newly added features. Players can experience STAR WARS Demolition enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. Trophy support not included.
