Food shortage: Supermarkets begin rationing vegetables

With supplies of essential vegetables growing increasingly scarce, supermarkets are having to begin rationing them in order to make sure everyone can access these basic commodities. This means that customers may find some produce, especially the more delicate varieties such as lettuces and green beans, is limited or not available at all. Tesco and Aldi became the latest supermarkets to place limits on some vegetables that customers can buy due to supply shortages.
