Well, to fully understand horrors of slavery and the true heroism of people like Harriet Tubman, we first need to look beyond race and see the people just like us who had lost their freedom. This is what Levi Coffin had to do. He had to persuade others to join in on helping free slaves. But he needed a creative way to do it...
