In this tutorial, I will show you how to replace a faulty radiator fan in a 2007 Pontiac Solstice, as well as other models based on the Kappa platform such as the Saturn Sky, Opel GT, Chevy HHR, and Chevy Cobalt. This straightforward procedure can be done with some basic tools, such as a socket set and a coolant catch pan.

Welcome to my tutorial on how to install a new radiator fan in a 2007 Pontiac Solstice, as well as other models that share the Kappa platform. and LNF engine.

To complete this installation, you'll need an AC DELCO OEM 19129940, 19130227, or equivalent radiator fan, a socket set, and a coolant catch pan. These items are readily available online or at your local auto parts store.

Now, let's go over the steps involved in this process:

Step 1: Remove the air intake.
Step 2: Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
Step 3: Disconnect the radiator overflow tank return hose from the radiator.
Step 4: Loosen the driver and passenger side charge tubes (Turbo Only).
Step 5: Disconnect the PCM on the fan and remove it.

Overall, the procedure is pretty straightforward and self-explanatory. Just follow these steps and you'll have a brand new radiator fan installed in no time.
