Qiru Walder came of age during Mao's Cultural revolution and longed to escape. She minces no words speaking about the realities of communism and the destruction left in its wake.

My videos are desingned to be educational resources for both parents and students. I simply speak with dissident voices and share our conversations. I do not buy into the victim narrative and refuse to see myself or anyone else deficient based on immutable characteristics.
My goal is to simply give voice to the everyday heroes past and present that are still saying "no" to the popular and current ideology.
